Waste Management Authority and the Alameda County Source Reduction
and Recycling Board operating as one public agency that is dedicated
to achieving the most environmentally sound solid waste management
and resource conservation program for the people of Alameda County.
With a staff of 26 and 2008-09 budget of $22.5 million, the Executive
Director will foster an environment of cutting-edge creativity
and innovation, assist the Board in accomplishing the Agency’s
mission, and serve as a spokesperson in representing the vision
to member agencies. The ideal candidate will be familiar with
recycling programs, source reduction, solid waste management,
and sustainability and will have experience working with an elected
or appointed Board on a coalition basis. Bachelor’s degree
in public or business administration or a related field is required;
a Master’s degree is highly desirable. Salary range is $151,164
to $199,908 DOQ.

salary range of $12,500 - $15,300 monthly is under review.
